This summer, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are set to co-headline a monster tour with fellow rock band Garbage. The tour covers numerous major cities across North America, so Noel Gallagher’s stop in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a once-in-a-lifetime show. The highly-acclaimed English musician has been regarded as one of the top songwriters in British rock history. He has penned multi-platinum-selling hits under his former band Oasis and continues to write and release countless hits with High Flying Birds.
In 2011, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds released their self-titled debut album and topped the U.K. charts. The album spawned several critically-acclaimed singles, including “The Death of You and Me” and “Dream On,” which also performed well internationally. The album entered the charts in 22 countries, including five categories in the U.S. Billboard. In the U.K., the record was certified double platinum after selling more than 800,000 units.
