Platinum-selling music artist and entrepreneur Jimmy Buffet is known for releasing iconic escapism songs, like “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “Son of a Sailor,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” and “Volcano,” among others. His breakthrough single, “Margaritaville,” was released in 1977. The song, featured in his seventh effort, Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes, topped Billboard’s Hot Adult Contemporary chart and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 13 on Hot Country Singles.
