Over ten years since they last joined forces, the two bands are kicking off the "Renegades & Juke Box Heroes" Tour. The new trek will take the bands' greatest hits and all-time crowd favorites back to the stage. Over a decade since they last teamed up for a co-headlining show, this summer is bound to make history. Foreigner is currently staging the last hurrah of their Historical Farewell Tour. As such, the joint-summer bash with Styx will be the last chance for fans to catch the two bands performing side-by-side. Produced by Live Nation, the "Renegades & Juke Box Heroes" tour will be serving both bands' greatest hits in its full glory. Rockin' major cities across North America, they're also bringing along a special guest, John Waite - the British rock icon behind international hit singles "Missing You" and "When I See You Smile".
"We’re very excited to be sharing the concert stage with Foreigner and John Waite in the summer of 2024," Styx guitarist James Young shared. "We have previously toured with Foreigner and the result was both bands kicked ass and had a great time doing it."
As Foreigner concludes decades of touring and keeping their legendary hits live on stage, they promise to deliver the same enthusiastic energy as if it were their first show. "We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances," Jones shared in a statement about their farewell trek, via Live Nation. "While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows are going to delight audiences everywhere."
"As we continue on with our farewell tour, I have been very moved by the support and reaction of all of our fans," Mick Jones of Foreigner shared in another statement. "To perform these next shows with our friends Styx and John Waite makes it even better."
