Ameris Bank Amphitheatre
Dierks Bentley headlines this Broken Branches tour that's making its way to the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia, on Thursday, June 5th. This is a great opportunity to come out and have a blast with three amazing performers who are leading in the country music landscape.
Zach Top promises, "I Never Lie." Over his years in country music, he's proven to be one of those performers who keeps it real. The cowboy persona that you see on stage is who he really is. That's something the crowd with otherwise see right through.
The Band Loula, the other opening act, "brings a swampy and haunting acoustic spirit to their instantly transfixing country" their description of themselves, not ours! The duo, though, does bring a different vibe to the show when compared to the other two cowboys who'll be taking the stage. This combination of three performers is shaping to generate an interesting overall performance.
Perhaps the biggest cheers of the night will be for Dierks Bentley's "What Was I Thinkin'." That's what you'll be asking yourself if you don't hit the get tickets button in time and miss out on this country show.
It's fair to say that a lot of these country boys are out there singing about the love they lost. Some of the more romantic ones talk about the love they have. Then there's Dierks Bentley, who loves to sing to the broken-hearted who are taking a step forward! "Somewhere On a Beach" is a perfect example of this. You don't want your ex to be calling your phone; you want to be sipping something strong with the boys! The entire "Broken Branches" event is tailored for the guys. It's not that you can't bring your girl to this one, but it might be one of those shows that you're going to enjoy more as a guy's a night.
There are quite a few female performers out there that you wouldn't like your girl to take you to. Maybe this night at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre you can convince her that it's a guy's night. In fact, Dierks Bentley is really leaning heavily into that type of audience. He crafted a playlist on Spotify titled "She Hates Me." As you can see, this sense of boys breakup songs filling the air on June 5th is no lie. The show can be enjoyed by anyone, just like those country nights when the ladies talk badly about their boys. Just be warned, though, there might be more than a few broken-hearted dudes vibing to the music inside the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.
No matter where you're sitting, you're going to want to arrive early on this night. Getting here before the show starts not only guarantees you'll get a chance to catch every performer. It also gives you an opportunity to locate exits, bathrooms, and refill stations. That way, you always have everything you need to enjoy the show. You don't want to be listening to "Somewhere on a Beach" without sippin' something strong, do you? It just comes with the territory!
