The Yacht Rock Revue is coming your way! The soft rock band is made up of the incredibly talented Peter Olson, Nicholas Niespodziani, Mark Cobb, Greg Lee, Mark Bencuya, Mark Dannells, and David Freeman. The seven piece tours nationally, playing more than a whopping 100 shows a year and selling out major venues in Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. After an epic 2024 tour with heavyweights REO Speedwagon and Train, Yacht Rock Revue is hitting the road again to bring you an awesome live concert experience in Alpharetta, Georgia. If you didn’t already know, Yacht Rock Revue is an American rock ensemble that was formed in Atlanta in 2007. You can catch the Georgia band performing covers, as well as some of their own original material. Yacht Rock Revue’s set list is focused around a groovy genre called “yacht rock.” They often play soft rock from the seventies and eighties, as well as throw in the odd nineties song.
The Yacht Rock Revue was formed by members of the since-defunct indie rock outfit Y-O-U after an ironic show of soft rock hits at a local club gig transformed into a weekly residence. From humble beginnings as a side project, the Yacht Rock Revue has now evolved into a beloved band known and loved throughout the concert trail. The Yacht Rock Revue is made up of the skillful Peter Olson, Nicholas Niespodziani, Mark Cobb, Greg Lee, Mark Bencuya, Mark Dannells, and David Freeman. After racking up a huge fanbase, the band inked a contract with Live Nation. The seven piece tours nationally, playing more than a whopping 100 shows a year and selling out major venues in Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. In 2023, Yacht Rock Revue opened for Kenny Loggins' "This Is It" Tour, and in 2024, they supported REO Speedwagon and Train in shows across the U.S. from July through September. These guys have some original music which would be awesome to experience live! At the end of 2019, the band dropped their first original single, "Step" and it was totally epic. What’s more, this soft rock seven piece also issued their first album of original material, Hot Dads in Tight Jeans, in 2020.
