Glass Animals Tickets from $63

Glass Animals are preparing to tour their forthcoming, fourth studio album, I Love You So F***ing Much, all across North America and Canada, before jumping back in the UFO, and heading back to Europe for several shows before finally ending it all... just the tour, ending the tour... at home in London U.K. The new album is ready to launch, July 19th, while the Tour of Earth blasts off a month later along with Kevin Abstract, Eyedress, Blondshell, and The Big Moon playing at different venues.

And we're all wondering, did Glass Animals peek with the album, Dreamland, and specifically the viral hit “Heat Waves,”? Well, let's see if they can top this list of accolades... “Heat Waves,” hit the number 1 spot in charts in Australia, and the U.K. as well as the Hot 100 and Adult Top 40 here in the U.S. becoming the first song by a British band since the Spice Girls’ 1995 hit “Wannabe” to top the Billboard 100 for five consecutive weeks. Both the song, and the album got the band their first Brit award nomination, as well as their first Grammy Award nomination. And finally, the album moved a massive 12 million units globally.

It's going to be a hard task to top, but it seems that's where the band are heading; “Life can change dramatically, but sometimes you aren’t able to change as quickly on a personal level. You end up feeling like a spectator,” lead singer Dave Bayley shared about his newly acquired fame from “Heat Waves,” and turning it into a new album. “And then you are asked and expected to be a certain type of person, a different person. But… I wasn’t sure how. It confused me to the point of not knowing who I was or if anything was real.” Eventually, accepting the simple truth: “Human connection and the love between us is much bigger, more important, and more complex than anything else.”

Former member of hip-hop boy band Brockhampton, and 27-year-old rapper Kevin Abstract, last year released a very unusual album, the Grunge rock, Nirvana-inspired album, Blanket. Described as “Coming of age,” “dark,” and a bit “high school” by listeners, and "like, a Sunny Day Real Estate, Nirvana, Modest Mouse type of record" that "hit like a rap album" by Abstract himself.

Glass Animals, with special guest, Kevin Abstract, live at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre on Thursday, August 8th 2024 for their grandly named, "Tour of Earth 2024.". Tickets are available right now, and this is gonna be big, bigger than a giant purple glowing eyeball in space, big.
