The best part of country music is that it can be fused with another music genre. This free-for-all perk is utilized by most, if not all, country musicians. But only a few artists know how to master the genre-fusions. Like other country specialists, Dierks Bently treads many genres in making his music. In his style, bluegrass melds with country, rock, and pop, which gives a distinctive gentleness to his tunes.
For more than 20 years, Bentley rode the top ten charts of country music. He started with "What Was I Thinkin'," his debut single. In every release, he had his music on top of the charts. "How Am I Doin'" followed from the success of the first one. Coming from the same albums, charting two times at the top of the country charts is a huge success. Breaking the record, his sophomore album, "Modern Day Drifter," had three top charting songs, namely "Come a Little Closer," "Settle for a Slowdown," and "Lot of Leavin' Left to Do." Another three songs topped the charts in her third album, "Long Trip Alone." Both "Every Mile a Memory" and "Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)" topped, while "Trying to Stop Your Leaving" and "Long Trip Alone" reached the top ten. This trend continued with his next releases. "Feel That Fire" (2009), "Up on the Ridge" (2010), "Home" (2012), "Riser" (2014), "Black" (2016), and "The Mountain" (2018) lived up to the success of the first recorded albums.
In 2023, the country superstar put out his latest album entitled "Gravel & Gold." The album peaked at the 14th spot in Billboard's Top Country Albums. With 14 songs on its list, he was able to utilize his full range. Songs vary from heavily bluegrass to classic country.
In support of his new album, Bentley will be on the road for the "Gravel & Gold Tour." This tour will bring him to venues in both Canada and the US. The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia, will host his concert on September 6. Now is the time to buy tickets for this concert. You can get tickets through the "Get Tickets" link.
